Hi I’m Ann-Marie and I am part of Dolly Dimples DT and also one of the illustrating designers.
Having always drawn since a young child, to now be able to draw and have the images turned into stamps, stencils and paper kits is extremely exciting.
The journey with Dolly Dimples started back in October 2017. I was watching Hochanda, when Dolly Dimples came on with the lovely Charmain Barrett demonstrating her wonderful Alice in fabulous land CD-ROM and All Sewn up for Christmas CD-ROM, which of course I purchased at a great price. I fell in love with her quirky demo’s and feel for fun.
At the end of the show Charmain asked if there was anyone that would like to join her DT group to contact her via email. Never having been on a DT before, I was apprehensive but jumped in with both feet leaving my contact details. I received my first DT parcel of goodies on 1st November 2017 and started creating samples and then on the 5th December Charmain asked to see my art work and that’s where me designing for Dolly Dimples started.
It is a privilege to work with a great family business like Dolly Dimples, so incredibly supportive. It’s such fun discussing ideas and brain storming with the other designers on the team and DT.
I post all my hand drawn images and DT samples on my own Facebook page and personal Instagram.
I have a blog that I try to keep up to date, which can be a challenge working full time and juggling everything else, so you’ll have to forgive me when I’m a little behind.
I also have an Etsy shop with images I have drawn that can be purchased.
