Large and rather unpleasant flower. Starts off on a sunny morning a striking red and white in colour and highly scented. Will only grow in a red pot and insists on being planted next to a mirror. It is a very vain flower and is never happy with its colour. It spends the day changing colour and admiring itself in the mirror. Plant in early summer for Autumn flowers. It is a bully and likes to argue. Loud and enjoys insulting other flowers in the flower bed. The red pollen attracts bees but the Vanity Lily shouts at them to make them cry, Known to yell and shout insults when you walk past and for that reason plant away from the house and front path. It is pest free and very snooty. Does not like to be ignored. It tries to attract the elusive Blue Dolly Town Dragonfly which it feels makes it look good in the mirror. Plant in a sunny position.
