In the workshop we will be making an A4 art journal page, 6" x 6" card & a tag using Shady Designs Frame By Frame stamp set & Framed stencil.
The live workshop will be run on 3rd February 2024 at 10am in a private Facebook Group. Link to workshop will be sent via email. Enter your invoice number and the name that appears on the invoice to gain entry.
The video will be recorded and saved in to the group to be watched back at any time.
What will you need?
- 3 blending ink pads - choose colours that you enjoy working with. Working with colours that we know blend or compliment each other, really helps when making backgrounds. Also helps take away some of the unknown.
- black ink pad - choose the ink that works with your colouring medium eg: Versafine/Versafine clair for watercolour or Memento for alcohol markers
- stencil(s) - I will be using Shady Design Framed stencil. HOWEVER any stencils will work for the backgrounds we are making today.
- stamps - I will be using Shady Design Frame By Frame stamp set.
- card / journal / tags - I will be working on A4 card as it is easy to demo that way. You will need at least 3 pieces of A4 card.
- colouring mediums - I will either use water colour pencils or inks. Choose the medium that works best for you.
- extras - stamp blocks/slims, blending tools, mister bottle, scrap paper, paint brush, scissors, glue
What will we cover?
- We are going to be creating an A4 art journal page showing how to create a background & then add further layers.
- Creating and using the mop up backgrounds to make additional projects: 6" square card & large tag
How long will the workshop last?
In my head, I think will will be together for at least 2.5/3 hours, however it my run over.
